About Dr. Volkmann
Dr. Volkmann completed his undergrad at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. While at the U of M, Dr. Volkmann wrestled for the Gophers and received many awards. As a student-athlete he worked very hard to become a 3x All-American, 4x All-Big Ten team member and 2004 Big Ten Champion at 165 lbs. At the same time he earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Geology and one in Geophysics. He then went on to Northwestern Health Sciences University where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. He completed internships at Woodwinds Natural Care Clinic in Woodbury, MN and Advanced Injury Rehabilitation in Roseville, MN.
Originally from Henning, a town in west central Minnesota, Dr. Volkmann currently resides in White Bear Lake with his family. He continues to be involved in wrestling, now at the coaching level. He is head coach of the Ice Bears youth wrestling club working with kids in grades K-6. He also lends his expertise to the WB High School wrestling team. Forever a Gopher fan, Dr. Volkmann can be found cheering at the Gophers’ home wrestling matches.
